PICHER PLANT

PICHER   PLANT   GROWS  IN   SHALLOW  EREARS.  were  soil  is  poor  in   introgen.  this  plant   has  large   leves  which   are   twisted  by  themselves  to  from   a  pitch shaped   vessel   witha  lid.  it  attracts   insects  by  its  picher  shaped  leaves  in   which   rain  wedher   can  accumulate  inside  the  wall  of  the   picher  there  are  hairs  which  are  directed  downwords  so  that  when  an  insect   goes  in  to  the  picher  it   gets   trapped   inside. Although  it   would   struggle   to  come  out, it  has  noes  cape. The  hairs  keep  it  etangle  and  the   the  insect   is  dijested  and  absorbet  by  the  plant. This  is  how  the  plant   catches  incects.
